It was founded on a feeling. Marrying in 2018 in what was to become the first A L T | A Lover’s Thread wedding, founder + designer Sophie launched the brand in early 2020 at Most Curious after falling head over heels for the wedding world.
Our first collection of original vintage pieces has been carefully curated from fashion destinations all over the world, from London to Paris, and New York to LA. Our dresses are steeped in history, romance and personal detail. We offer both vintage re-design and bespoke embellishment services – this is at the core of what we do.
Collaboratively re-imagining and organically transforming your chosen style using natural, sustainable and eco-friendly materials. We add luxe hand-beaded and embroidery details; names, dates, first dance lyrics and love symbols chosen by you, that truly tell your unique love story.
