Mini dresses, Mazel Tovs and maxi boots, make Arielle and Michael’s Chelsea Town Hall ceremony micro wedding inspiration galore
Apologies guys, we’ve got a two-parter here, that def culminates in a big day celebration that will serve for the dreaming of when we can GO BIG again, but it’s good to have a dream right? This August 2019 London wedding, of Arielle and Michael, is one we’ve swooned over many a time and knew our exhibitor Blume Studio did the INCREDIBLE primo of the ‘2019 moment’ flowers, so we wanted to find out if there was a Most Curious connection. And there is! The couple came to the show, with Arielle’s mum and found quite a few suppliers including Blume, Glorious Bakery, Papier, and The Wedding Smashers!
And there’s also method to our madness because they actually had a registry office beforehand at Chelsea Town Hall, which we think serves as perfect micro wedding inspiration, so ACTUALLY we are going to post that one first in this as Part 1, and then we will post part 2 next week! Which like we say is more of the absolute dream level giant Jewish meets Irish wedding extravaganza scenario so, it will be MORE than worth the wait. Have we done this the right way round, not sure, but let’s go for it!
Arielle is now in full momma mode, with their gorgeous son Roman, so we thank her so much for finding time to answer a few of our questions. These nuptials are just so full of love and laughter, so many kisses and cuddle puddles, they are obviously two super tight family and overjoyed to be uniting, read on for the scoop! I know getting all misty eyed over these gorgeous images, taken by the one and only Benjamin Wheeler (of course) doesn’t necessarily help the Corona versus Safe weddings argument, but you know what, we’re all adults and we can control ourselves until it’s safe BUT let’s at least REMEMBER and take a little moment to soak it all up that time when this was the norm and it was BEAUTIFUL not fear inducing! Heavenly…. it will come again beauties, it will come again.
ENJOY GUYS, ENJOY!!
Who are you both and what do you do?
Arielle Shear - Photographer
Michael McMonagle - Banking
How did you meet?
Michael’s sister Laura is my best friend. After she introduced us, Michael did a fair bit of chasing before I finally considered dating my best friend‘s brother. I’m so glad I did!
The main suppliers for their Chelsea Town Hall Registry Office marriage, were of course Blume Studio’s divine flowers and photos by Benjamin Wheeler. Arielle’s killer outfit was a Magda Butrym collared mini dress with a Needle and Thread bow veil, plus boots of dreams from Zara for a very 60s inspired city bride look. Her make up was done Jacinta Spencer and Hair by Carmen Amelia. Michael’s pastel blue suit was from ASOS for this smaller occasion.
What have you learnt about marriage so far? :)
It really is a partnership. Finding out we were pregnant on our honeymoon and having our beautiful baby Roman less than a year after our wedding has really been a whirlwind! It’s all happened so fast but it’s been amazing.
WE’LL BE BACK WITH MORE OF BENJAMIN WHEELER’S AMAZING IMAGES FROM THE BIG DAY THAT FOLLOWED THIS IN PART 2 AND MORE DETAILS ABOUT WHO DID WHAT AND WHY!
