As you can tell, she’s really caught our eye as a wedding photographer who is a great fit with our Most Curious audience, yet we hadn’t seen too much from her until now, so we have been getting to know her over zoom calls and delving deep into her beautiful artistic imagery, that harks back so much to historical documentary photography - for weddings! She seems to have that intuitive knack of capturing that moment that past so fleetingly on the day but encapsulated so much of the raw emotions and joy that over flow on the occasion of a wedding. The exact second your mum looked up to really let herself feel all of the feels as you said your vows, giggles of happiness and relief when you catch your first moments together, alone after the ceremony, little girls twirling in their dress, thinking no one is watching. Corrina is and makes sure those moments between the moments are there forever, to bring you back to the whole feeling of your day. She makes sure she finds a way to connect with you, often over zoom calls, so she can ‘feel’ what is important to you, and uses this to seek out and be in tune with those instances of significance as they unfold on the day.
She’s also the master of the group shot, not one for a staged or posed procedure, but her background of a former life as a primary teaching and now also a regular mentor at photography workshops, stands her in good stead for the direction and production skills needed to coordinate a natural but stylish group shot of Vanity Fair proportions!
She has had a love affair with photography since watching her father in his dark room and her earliest memories are being pushed around black and white photography exhibitions in her pram by her parents in Sydney. It’s in the blood. Over the last 20 years, her natural, yet timeless style has evolved via training as an editorial or reportage photographer (seen in story line spreads) and inspired by the great reportage photographers she brings these skill sets to her wedding photography. A self-confessed life-long Francophile, she transformed her world moving from South Coast Australia to the a medieval village in the South of France, where she does much of her photography and wedding work, as well as Italy, but can shoot all over the world.
