Contemporary, minimalist bridal for London brides from our 2014 show to now - Introducing Andrea Hawkes Bridal
This year, our dress sponsor is Andrea Hawkes Bridal, an iconic bridal designer who’s famous for her contemporary shapes, flowing lines and impeccable eye for design. We were lucky enough to have her as an exhibitor in 2014 as a brand new start up business, and we’re honoured to have her back for our 2019 show. Half a decade has passed, but her incredible skill has stayed the same, with her designs getting more and more swoonworthy as the years have gone on.
Where it all began…
Andrea Hawkes is a British Bridal designer based in Islington, North London.
The brand was launched in 2014, after Andrea had worked alongside some of the most well-known British bridal designers for a number of years.
This has given her invaluable experience whilst working with Brides, to gain a true appreciation of the importance of the relationship between the bride and their designer.
In the same year of launching the brand, Andrea Hawkes participated at Most Curious in Hackney, London. This year sees a return of the brand, who over the past 5 years have developed and grown into one of the most well-known British Bridal designers, both in the UK and beyond.
Andrea started with a closed-door studio in Central Hackney in 2013, working with a former colleague to design, pattern and create her first collection. This led to participation at White Gallery London Bridal Week and opening a pop-up shop in Stoke Newington, as an initial trial of her designs. The pop-up shop and Most Curious Fair led to working with her first clients, launching the brand and developing her style ideas further.
The success of both led to her opening the Clerkenwell, London showroom in 2014, where a modern and relaxing space has been created in order for Andrea to give every bride the personal service she ensures. Andrea’s ethos is to simplify the bridal experience by offering an honest approach to having a beautiful wedding dress made.

2019 will also see Andrea’ launch at New York Bridal Week, as the brand look to expand their reach to the US and Asia.
