Without going too deep on you, there’s something so magical about photobooths; seeing so many people have such a joyous time is one thing, but the feeling of elation when you watch your printed photos come out is another. We’re thrilled to have Boxless Booths back for Most Curious 2019 with their genius open air photobooth - we’re talking stylish backdrops, good old-fashioned props, and totally customisable designs, never mind a clientele list that boasts Versace. You can live out your best Vogue dreams, or get those classic messy group photos that you’ll treasure forever - basically, you can do the whole damn thang.
A little about your business and you
Boxless Booths was created by Paul Rowland, a professional photographer who works in both studio and event photography. He saw the opportunity to combine his skills and created the studio style photo booth that is Boxless Booths.
The coolest/best moment of your career so far
As well as creating Boxless Booths for some amazing weddings and working with incredible brides and grooms, Boxless has also had the pleasure of collaborating with brands like Versace, Cartier, Cath Kidston, Land Rover and Fenwick.
Who or what inspires you?
At the heart of Boxless Booths is creating unique photo booth installations that means something personal to couples. I love working with couples to come up with a booth that realises their theme or concept.
What do you love most about your job?
I love how peoples' faces light up when they see their photos being printed, which they can take away as a souvenir or memento. Their laughter and joy is priceless! I also get a lot of satisfaction when the married couple gets to see all their photos for the first time on the online gallery. It's really gratifying to see their activity on social media with their friends and family.
What's the most curious thing about your business?
In addition to our unique studio style and personal touch, our signature illustrated props really bring our booths to the next level. We can also make any prop or backdrop requested by our couples.
What's your top advice for couples getting married?
You can never have too many photos of the big day ;)
