WELL. That went by quickly, didn’t it? 2019’s over, and 2020’s almost upon us - a new year and a new decade, which we can’t wait to see FULL of innovative, inspirational wedding style and love. Obviously our shows are both about focusing on the now, on the present, on your loved one and you, and on looking forward for maximum style impact; but it’s also always important to look back on the year and see what you’ve been loving. We thought our instagram top nine would be a great way to do that, so, without further ado - here’s our top 9 bits of wedding inspiration from 2019:

ONE

Our Spoonful Sugar Co Marriage Material tee came back in stock in June with a bang, with a customer pic illustrated by our super talented 2019 & 2020 exhibitor Bee Davies Illustration. Grab yours for your hen, wedding weekend or just general paired-with-jeans-vibe here!

TWO

We all went bananas - and rightly so - for this blue and pink candy striped Carolina Herrera wedding dress. Who says brides have to wear white dresses?! Modern bridal style ON LOCK.

THREE

More coloured, alternative wedding dress deliciousness, this time courtesy of Temperley Bridal, who have our sequinned hearts forever and always.

FOUR

Nestled in amongst some designer dresses and delicious wedding suppliers is, well, us! The team that put together the 2019 show, just after it had wrapped - champagne, brooms, and weariness in hand.

FIVE

Feeling love’s infinite nature with this gorgeous tattoo by Portugese artist M - we love the fine, floral element of it.

SIX

Isobel Bakes wowed everyone at our 2019 fair with her stunning designs, featuring bee embellishments, painterly buttercream swatches and delicious flavours (banana and Nutella was a strong fave of ours).

SEVEN

Fi from The Floral Editor brought plinth perfection to her stand at the 2019 show, matching colourblock pastel stands with the most incredible bursting floral arrangements stood on top of them. (#sainsburysbaginthepalette is a trend we hope to see continue for 2020, obviously).

EIGHT

The wedding we’d all been waiting for - the gorgeous Charlotte Jacklin and Jack got married in October, and their portrait, captured by The Curries, shot to our top nine. They had an Alice Gabb banner as their backdrop, who’s one of our 2020 exhibs - vintage velveteen wonderment for all.

NINE

This colour palette was strong last year and we hope is here to stay - muted blues, terracottas, and splashes of feature pink. For maximum impact, mix textures too, with ceramics, tassels and velvets all in the pot for a gorgeous end result!

So, a big thank you to 2019 and all of your incredible support - and here’s to all the wonderful things 2020 will bring…
