GOLDEN HOUR: A beautiful Brighton elopement by Art & Story Photography
Another wincy wedding for your inspiration today, this time from Norwich exhibitor ART & STORY PHOTOGRAPHY. It was actually from before Covid times (is that the new BC now?) - see this beautiful pair Heather and Justin actually chose to go micro, with this gorgeous elopement to Brighton. And just goes to show all you need is your main squeezes to make a magical day.
Heather and Justin’s story supplied by Anna at ART & STORY - come and meet her at The Fire Pit Camp for the Norwich Most Curious show on 11th October.
The seaside town of Brighton is a popular escape from the scampering chaos of the metropolitan cities. Here on the shores of the English Channel, our exuberant groom, Justin, and his beautiful wife-to-be, Heather, had spent memorable days together exploring the sun-bathed town. So, it was no surprise that once Justin and Heather decided to get married that the nostalgic coastal community would be the best fit for their intimate Brighton elopement
The nervous and elated giggles of Heather and Justin echoed off the cardinal walls of the Brighton registry as they hurriedly exchanged their vows. The lucky limited guest list included select family members and Heather’s best friend.
Shortly after the ceremony, Heather and Justin stopped by one of their favourite Brighton beach attractions – the Bandstand – to capture a few images before whisking off to celebratory drinks with their loved ones at The Copper Clam.
And of course, the seaside elopement wouldn’t be complete without soft golden hour portraits by the water’s edge. So, after lounging in the warm sun and enjoying a jubilant refreshment, Heather and Justin were ready to shoot some portraits. Dawning six-inch heels, Heather explored the pebble stone beach with her new husband. Only a pro could effortlessly pull off heels on a seashore of small rocks! And Heather did it like a pro. The golden rays and elated smiles were a perfect way to end this whimsical Brighton elopement.
