The Union Club, a hidden Soho gem
London is famous for its grand and desirable venues - the subject of many a film and many a tourist's dream. But if London is your hometown and your playground, you may want something a little more unique and - dare we say it - cool. That's why we're thrrriiiiilled to introduce you to 270 year old townhouse that is THE UNION, a private member's club in the heart of Soho, and a premium exhibitor for Most Curious 2018, that promises to be your home from home.
With it's buttery yellow walls, dishy distressed decor and incredible location for a city wedding, we're all over celebrating your union at The Union.
What do you think the most Curious couples will love about your venue?
The intimate nature and warmth of the club always win people over, the food - the choice of menu on the day of weddings, the friendly staff, the value, and the beautiful surroundings. It's our unique combination that make it perfect.
Why did you decide to set up your own business?
We wanted to create a space that was our own, where orignally the Soho media folk who demand something intelligent and unique, could gather together over good food, good wine and good company. Now, we have expanded our premises and clientele and continue with this ethos firmly at the heart of what the Union is.

What's been the coolest/best moment of your career so far?
Having opened the club, realising that people wanted to come back! And are still doing so 25 years later. Seeing those familiar faces at the Union is always a great feeling.
Who or what inspires you?
My sons and my hard working team who whose loyalty is astounding. My longest serving staff member has been with us since the beginning and I think that's very rare in this industry. We nurture our staff and members in a place they are truly happy to be.
Who is your fave famous wedding from history and why?
I have a lot of respect for a couple who recently got married whilst ironing in free fall from a plane. Someone has to do it!
